The best Latex editor

LaTeX AI Voice Mode

Introducing AI Voice Mode: Edit Your LaTeX Documents by Speaking

We’re excited to announce Voice Mode, a new way to interact with your LaTeX projects—hands-free.

Watch the demo

With Voice Mode, you can now speak directly to the LaTeX AI and have your document updated in real time. Just press the microphone button, say what you want changed, and watch Crixet instantly update the LaTeX code and re-render the PDF (as long as you have the auto compile option turned on in the settings) no typing, no distractions.

Want to rephrase a paragraph? Add a new section? Fix a typo? Just say it.

Here’s how it works:
  1. Press the Voice button (bottom of the editor) to activate Voice Mode.

  2. Speak your command — for example, “Add a table with booktabs.”

  3. Crixet sends your request to ChatGPT, which updates the LaTeX code accordingly.

  4. The updated PDF preview refreshes instantly so you can see the change as it happens.

We believe Voice Mode brings us one step closer to a more natural, seamless editing experience—especially during focused writing sessions or while multitasking. Watch this space, the next couple months will bring a lot more of these fun features.

Try it out and let us know what you think. Voice Mode is now live for all users.
Your ideas. Spoken out loud. Turned into LaTeX.

Help us get even better

We’re committed to making Crixet the best platform for LaTeX collaboration.
