The best Latex editor

Moving between code and preview

Discover how to seamlessly switch between PDF Preview and the corresponding code location in an instant

Using buttons in the editor

In the code editor, you'll notice two arrows. These arrows enable you to switch from code to preview or from PDF preview back to code with just one click. While there are other methods to achieve this, the arrows provide the most straightforward approach.

Using the context menu and shortcuts

When you right-click in the code editor, a context menu appears, offering the 'Go to PDF' option. Selecting it updates the preview, navigates to the corresponding page, and highlights the content you chose in the editor.

Note that you can also use the shortcut Command/Alt + J for the same action.

Move from PDF Preview to code

Navigating from a PDF to the corresponding code entry is simple. Just click the text in the PDF you want to locate, and Crixet will instantly update the editor view to show it.
